In today’s post I’m bringing you 5 faux snakeskin pieces you need in your wardrobe this fall and all of them are ringing up under $100! Before I move on, I wanted you here on my blog to be the first to know that this Sunday I’m starting a new blog series called “Cafesito con Pau” (translation: coffee with Pau)… I’ll be sharing more on my Instagram and Instastories, but in a nutshell it will be a way for me to talk about things non-fashion related like my favorite shows, podcasts, random thoughts and what not. So come back this Sunday for my first post of the series!
Ok now back to the fashion… let’s talk about Faux Snakeskin pieces under $100!What I’m wearing: Faux Snakeskin moto jacket | Twist front pullover | cabi Button Fly Skinny Jeans | black over the knee boots (similar here) | Black cateye sunglasses (under $15)

Snake print vs Faux Snakeskin
This is different from when I talked about snake print because it is all about the texture and looking like you’re wearing a snake without actually hurting any snakes (no snakes were hurt in the making of this post). As a styling option, faux snakeskin can break up the usual neutral or black pieces we can get accustomed to wearing. The right faux snakeskin textured pieces add a touch of luxury to a look even if they ring in at less than $100 like the ones I’m talking about today! The first four pieces I am talking about below are pieces I own, purchased and can personally vouch for!
1. The Faux Snakeskin Moto Jacket
Does having a collection of over 5 moto jackets in different colors mean I am obsessed and probably don’t need another one? Yup! Did I end up getting this faux snakeskin one? Obvi! My justification: This one is from one of my favorite moto jacket brands and I knew that it would be of great quality. Plus, if it felt super plastic-y I was going to send it back STAT! When it arrived, it did not disappoint and I wore it immediately. I paired it with one of my fall uniforms (over the knee boots, jeans and a black top), but I can see myself layering it over a dress.

2. The Faux Snakeskin Booties
Faux snakeskin booties were at the top of my list to refresh my wardrobe for fall and to be honest I was overwhelmed with the options out there! Yes there are many out there, but these specifically were calling my name. They come in the classic pointed and heel shape and to my surprise, they have a memory foam insole – like whaaaa?? Sure enough, they were SUPER comfortable and look like such a chic addition to any of my fall looks.

3. The Faux Snakeskin Flats
You may or may not know that I work in a corporate setting and even though I sit at my desk most of the day, I do try to get my steps in! I will go downstairs to the in-building Starbucks and take the stairs back up (like over 10 floors of stairs). So with that in mind 99.8% of the time I choose to wear flats. Typically I wear out one pair at a time, but lately I’ve been into changing up my flats game so I picked up these leopard ones, these really cute ones AND these faux snakeskin flats with a silver buckle. Initially I was scared that they would be too stiff, but after one day of wearing them in, they felt SO comfortable!

4. The Faux Snakeskin Heels
You may notice that some faux snakeskin has color in it that can even go into the extremes. I like my faux snakeskin more realistic and/or neutral but these with a burgundy tinge were too chic to pass up. I also don’t own any other faux snakeskin heels so when I set out on my search I gravitated towards this pair. You can wear them with practically anything like jeans, dresses or even flare pants like I did below!

5. The Faux Snakeskin Handbag
So this one I found during my search, I chose not to buy it until I declutter my purses (that’s a whole other story), but if I wanted to acquire another purse THIS ONE would be it. It looks expensive without the hefty price tag which is one of my shopping mantras!
Let me know if you would wear or have worn the faux snakeskin trend? Need other fall outfit ideas? See some of my past ones here!
