It has been more than a year since I have posted here and so much has changed in a year for me personally and in both the virtual and real landscapes. For one, no this isn’t copy produced via AI, it’s actually quite the opposite! Just a girl typing in her computer late at night after putting her kids to bed. Two, it feels like nobody reads blogs anymore and well why would I want to “waste” my time here? Because back in 2011 when I wrote my first blog post it felt just like this- no audience, no followers, no goal to monetize, no Instagram, no LTK, just me using this blog as a creative outlet.

While everyone hops onto the next thing while it feels like the world is crumbling around us, I am coming home… to this blog. I am starting from the bottom again with the same purpose, to express myself creatively and regain that spark I had when I first started this blog.
For those that may be new here, I started this blog in my twenties, living in a one bedroom condo, on my own with my dog Coco (RIP) and I would take my outfit pictures using a tripod in my living room. I blogged through the many chapters of my life like getting married, buying a house, having my first child, and now my second, working my way up the corporate ladder and navigating the balancing act of being a working mom!
What will I be blogging about?
At the moment a lil bit of my life here in San Diego, me trying to regain my sense of style after my body has changed from having 2 kids, and being a mom. I’m sure the more I blog the more I’ll gravitate towards some topics more than others. In the meantime, feel free to keep up with my day to day on my Instagram, LTK (where I’m posting daily) and Tik Tok!
Though many of the popular methods of communication these days seem to be focused on visuals only (short form videos and photos), there is something special about the written word. I still love reading blogs, because it is a wonderful way to learn more and really engage with a topic. I appreciate that you look at your blog as a creative outlet and recognize how meaningful it has been to you. How beautiful! It is so special that your blog has been there to capture many different chapters of your life. I look forward to all of your future posts <3
