One of the things I was super excited about when I found out we were having a daughter was being able to do mommy and daughter matching outfits! After being a boy mom for the last 3 years, I definitely noticed the lack of matching options with my son and kept seeing all these cute things for matching with girls! Now that I have a lil girl to match with, I’ve become a sucker for the matchy matchy looks and found so many cute affordable options! Here is one of my favorite matching outfits with baby Capri that I posted on instagram. I would actually wear this dress even if I was not matching because it’s comfortable and has pockets- it’s a cool casual Summer dress! These come in different colors and sizes all the way up to girls! And I also found these cute newborn baby converse socks to match my converse sneakers!

It could be because I’m actively looking for mommy and me look, or it could just be IN right now but I feel like mommy and me outfits are popping up at so many retailers!
