Hi Everyone! Whew, how are you all doing? (feel free to comment or DM me as I’m really into talking to you gals!) Aside from how worrisome it is for my loved ones and/or I to get this virus (we are trying not to by socially distancing and taking ALL precautions), it has been heartbreaking to see what’s going in the news with those suffering from the virus and from this devastating economic time. I realized that since the last recession of 2008 (that kicked my butt as you can read here) I have been SUPER cautious with my finances and have been preparing myself for worse case scenarios financially, but even that hadn’t prepared me for the sadness I feel for those who have lost their jobs and are struggling. All of this has taken me back to when I started this blog with the goal of providing affordable style ideas that don’t look cheap because that literally became my forte when I was going through my financial hardship. So as we stay home (if we’re non essential workers) doing our part, I wanted to put together some cute and affordable at home looks for any of you that want to update our looks while being mindful of your spending.

I will start with the matching hoodie–jogger combo (pictured below) because ever since I shared it on my Instastories and in this post it has been a hit with you ladies. Let’s talk about cute slippers!
I also shared that I picked up a pair of pink moccasin slip-on slippers for under $20 and I have been wearing them non-stop (as you can see from the pic above and below). I like to pair it with leggings, a tunic and a comfy sweater for my work from home days. They are also available in black if you’re looking for a more versatile color!

Cozy Chic Top and Jogger Pairing
I picked up this look from Nordstrom and didn’t realize that the top and joggers were both from the same brand until I put it on and was like oooh this is very soft. Turns out the brand is Gibson and they have sooo many other options in this very soft material! I paired it with my other go-to sneakers, these pink Vans and voila!
