Who says you have to choose between comfort and style? After becoming a mom, and even more so when returning to work, I had to get creative in finding ways to remain stylish and be comfortable for my new on-the-go lifestyle. Long were the days when I used to crunch my feet into heels and sacrifice comfort to look fierce in 4 inch stilettos or pumps (although right now I had a flashback of how I walked in said heels and had to chuckle to myself). So over time I started to buy more fashionable flats than heels to the point that I realized it is where comfort meets style!

My fashionable flats of choice…
I use to just have one go-to pair in either black or nude and would wear them out, then get a new pair. I then started experimenting with flats in different prints (like leopard, houndstooth, floral), textures (faux snakeskin, faux croc) and shapes (pointed, round, square). That’s when it dawned on me that I didn’t need as many heels because I could still feel stylish in the comfort of a flat, like these! Because pointed shoes have been in as of late, I have been opting for pointed flats. I found this pair that come in leopard, yellow, black, nude, and now they have a faux snakeskin. I can vouch for the comfort of these shoes (true to size) because they have been put through the ringer. I wear them to work all the time, up and down over 10 floors (because I’m trying to get my steps in ), and they are the kind of show that get comfy with time.
