Hi everyone! If you’re reading this when I hit publish, then you might be in the last minute holiday shopping frenzy or you could be reading this later (which is fine too) and wrapping up your year like I am. Of course I will be bringing you my end of year reflections blog post, then my goals for 2020 but before I do I wanted to give a shout out to my favorite products of 2019!
What qualified them as “my favorite products of 2019”?
I know the term “favorite” gets thrown around, but I can definitely vouch for these products! I would buy them for someone else or buy them again for myself if I needed to! None of these were gifted by the brand nor did I get these for blog-related reasons, these were simply products that made my life easier, more organized or more enjoyable, especially as a busy working mom with a side hustle! I’ll give a brief explanation of why I love each product below, however if you have ANY questions feel free to comment below or DM me on Instagram!

- Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner: You guys, this has definitely brought some sanity to me when Julian throws crumbs all over the place or when Mr. Coco sheds pet hair! The key thing about this vacuum cleaner is that it is cordless, lightweight and it is easy to empty (literally at the pull of a button). I know there are so many versions now, but this one is nice and simple and gets the job done. I picked this up during prime day, but is seems like this version is currently being sold for the same price I got it at here.
- Airpods: When my best friend gave these to me for Christmas last year I was so surprised, thankful and honestly didn’t know I needed them until I used them. Day after day these came so in handy especially when the baby took a nap or went down to sleep for the night. I would pop these babies in and listen to a podcast, have it connected to my phone to watch stories during my breaks at work or connected to my ipad so I can catch up on shows. They have even come to my rescue when my husband lets me take a nap while he watches Julian, I put the sound of the rain and tune all the noise out. Basically, these were the product I didn’t know I needed so much! Thank you Sarai!
- Apple Watch: This was my Christmas gift from my husband last year and it has been amazing. I had held off for so long to get one because I had an awesome Fitbit that would track my steps and sleep until one day it came off my wrist at some point and I didn’t realize it until I got home from work 🙁 Other than being able to track my physical activities, for me the Apple Watch comes in handy because I usually lose track of my phone when I’m at home (which annoys the heck out of my husband), so with this watch I see incoming calls and texts while my phone can be under a pillow somewhere.
- Roomba: You’re probably thinking, another vacuum cleaner?! Yes, another one. I had this one prior to the Dyson cordless one, and the big differences are 1) I can turn this baby on with my phone while I’m at work and it can vacuum when I’m not home! GENIUS! 2) It goes under couches, beds, tables and gets all of those dust-mites out!
- Amazon Headbands: I know it’s getting random but these headbands specifically have been so awesome to just pop on my head when I get home from work and keep my hair out of my face and/or keep me looking somewhat stylish when I need to run an errand and just want to be comfortable. They come in a pack of 6 for under $15 and everyone who bought it at my recommendation loved them because they are not tight and hurt your head PLUS it is such a great deal.
- Comfy Robes: If you see me on Instastories in the evening or even when I work from home you’ll notice that I have embraced the #robelife (as I sit here wearing one). They are comfortable, warm and the best part, they have pockets! I usually get home from work, pop my headband and my robe on and tackle mom duties in COMPLETE comfort.
- Louis Vuitton Neverfull: I got this as a push present and while it’s not specific to 2019 per se, this bag has been SO awesome. Yes, it’s expensive but honestly it legit never gets full, hence the reason it has acted as my grocery bag, diaper bag, office bag and everything bag at one time or another this year.
- Reusable Starbucks cup: So this year I just gave in to my Starbucks grande regular dark roast coffee addiction. Like I can’t fight it anymore, it’s the one thing I look forward to in the mornings, I get excited to get to the office to get one, and sometimes can’t even wait so I stop by my local one before getting on the freeway. Well, this addiction can add up, and the benefit of a reusable Starbucks cup is that 1) they give you a discount for using it and 2) It’s better for the environment instead of getting a new cup with a plastic lid EVERY time.
- The Classic Happy Planner: I HAVE TRIED to go paperless for my planning needs every year and end up ordering one 3 weeks into the year after I feel completely disorganized. I am the type of person that NEEDS to see my day laid out on paper and also I love writing it in. For the past 4 years I have selected The Classic Happy Planner as my paper planner of choice with the vertical layout (horizontal is also available) because you can add or remove pages. I personally love the vertical because it gives me enough space to break up the column into three sections: work, household and blog to-do list. I also LOVE the satisfaction of crossing things off!
