While there hasn’t been a lot of “going out” over here (because pandemic & new baby) I did put together a going out top and bodysuits outfit idea because I have to stay ready for when I finally book a babysitter and escape! Just thinking about it gives me flashbacks of the days when I would go out every Wed-Sat (obvi pre-kids and single) and I would ask my girlfriends “what are you wearing tonight?” and the response would usually be “jeans and a cute top” *memoriesssss* Which brings me to my point that I feel like you can’t go wrong with a simple pair of jeans, heels and a top that made the statement for the outfit. This top in particular is very trendy with the square neck, puff sleeves (y’all know I love me a good puff sleeve) and the stretch in the mid section with a little peplum flair! I paired it with my go-to jeans, I LOVE THESE JEANS because they are high waisted and this momma who is still fighting the postpartum belly definitely needs it! I did pick up a couple other high waisted pairs so I can give these a break! hee hee. The accessories (all linked above) are also super affordable and versatile.
When thinking about going out to dinner with either the hubby for date night or with the girls this would be the perfect outfit. Ah, I can picture me now with a glass of wine or mojito! Where would you wear this to?
