It took me a minute to adopt the oversized blazer trend, but now that I have I am OBSESSED and today I bring you this oversized blazer outfit idea!
Today’s take is paired with ripped straight leg jeans that creates a cool juxtaposition between the polished top-half and the cool bottom-half. I will say that this way of styling an oversized blazer is inspired by the many chic street style looks I have been seeing since last year, especially from celebrities like Hailey Bieber. It took me this long to try it out because of 1) my long standing love affair with fitted blazers (as you can see here through the many years of doing outfits posts) and 2) I thought the oversized blazer would look frumpy on me, but once I tried this one I felt so chic! Adding this oversized blazer to an outfit elevates the outfit. You will definitely be seeing this blazer styled differently in upcoming blog posts!
It’s also funny how my view on proportions has evolved, old me would have never paired an oversized blazer with straight leg jeans but here we are! I love how effortless and chic this look turned out! Paired with my new Balenciaga XS Hourglass bag that doubles as a crossbody (love that detachable strap) and ta-dah! A chic casual outfit!
