You know when you’re headed out to meet up your girlfriends or on a date night with your man but the last thing you want to do is wear a dress? Well this happens to me practically all the time, especially now when I yearn for comfort after busy days! So the latest trick I use is to wear my comfy jeans and just add a statement top keeps the attention on the top half while giving you the opportunity to be comfy on the bottom half.

With a statement top you don’t need to do anything other than pair it with a good jean and some heels because the top itself makes the whole outfit pop! In other words: Party on the top, comfort on the bottom!
What makes a top a statement top?
A statement top or blouse can make a bold statement with its details, material, colors, prints or shape! For me personally, I love a good sleeve detail like the one on this top! I actually ended up wearing this outfit for a drink out in Vegas and I felt comfortable while looking party-ready. This top is almost sold out, but I have included more options at the end of this post!

You can also go with a top that has a fabulous print and really makes the outfit- like this one! I ALWAYS get compliments on this top! It has all the bells and whistles: sleeves, great print, high neck detail, and looks expensive!
Talking about pieces that look expensive but aren’t, if you don’t know this from me by know, I love affordable options (but not in the fast fashion type of way). Obviously definition of “affordable” depends on who you ask, but to me affordable would be under $75-100 or even less.
