When you think about the way you shop, do you consider it an actual experience?
We live in a time where shopping is typically an “add to cart” and “check out” situation without a personal connection to the retailer. While it may be quick and convenient, you’re on your own, you don’t have any sizing or styling guidance other than a chart and a couple of pictures on a website! Or let’s say you go to the mall and after the lines and an intimidating sales person you buy a piece but really have no idea all the ways you could style it. That is why I love the concept of a cabi Fashion Experience, a different and personal way to shop!
In this post I’m going to tell you why this type of experience puts the heart and fun back into shopping!

What is a cabi Fashion Experience?
I first got a demo of one during Cabi’s Blogger Day, and then got to attend a real one in someone’s home a couple of years ago. I was so excited to be sent on assignment to another Fashion Experience and this time I brought my sister-in-law to experience it for the first time! She hadn’t seen the collection other than what I have worn, so seeing her eyes light up with the clothes and become a cabi fan was a testament of how personal and unique the cabi brand and their Fashion Experience is.
The cabi Fashion Experience itself is hosted in the comfort of someone’s home (yours or your friend’s) with the goal to make it fun and take out the intimidation factor! Think wine, appetizers, girl time, and then fashion! These expert cabi Stylists know the collection in and out and with this being the third presentation I attend, I love seeing the informative flow of how they show the clothes. The cabi Stylist gives you so many ideas of how to mix and match, they call out the details of the garment (cabi’s fashion designers are known for all the fun details they put into pieces) and any fun facts! As a shopper you can sit back, enjoy the presentation and jot down what pieces you are interested in.
Then when the presentation portion is over, the cabi Stylist becomes like your personal stylist! She can help you with sizing and styling questions. This part of the experience also lets you go through the garments, touch and feel them, try them on, get input from your cabi Stylist, did I mention this all happens in the comfort of you or your friend’s home? It’s like one big fashion party with your girlfriends which makes for one FUN experience.
