There are some trends that I watch from a distance and contemplate on trying because I tend to play it safe with my wardrobe- teddy coats was one of them! I finally dipped my toe in the teddy bear coat pond with this gorgeous pink one and I couldn’t help but “snuggle up” to the trend! This is also a great outfit idea for the last of the Holiday parties or into the New Year!

To dip my toe, I opted for a pink teddy coat vs the actual tan one, I didn’t want to feel like an actual teddy bear if you know what I mean… hee hee. Teddy coats also tend to be big and make a statement on its own, so I wanted to style it over a simple black turtle neck dress and some ankle boots. I contemplated belting and cinching the waist (which I might still try paired with skinny jeans) but for how this look, I liked it better without a belt.
So why are so many warming up to this trend? Well for one, big shaggy coats like this always make me feel like Kate Hudson in “Almost Famous” which gives an outfit some cool vibes OR it could just be that it’s just so snuggly!
