Although Animal print in fall is not groundbreaking, I feel like the standard leopard print is all the rage right now.
I first saw its return in the Neiman Marcus Fall Trend Report here and have since seen it EVERYWHERE. The funniest part is that I currently have leopard pieces up for sale on my Poshmark closet, which I really considered taking down and keeping to wear them again, but decided I should bring in fresh and updated leopard pieces into my wardrobe.

In my “let’s get new leopard pieces” efforts, I also aimed to get affordable pieces because well, I put a clothing budget on myself this month!
I blew my budget out of the water when I went to NYFW and decided to do it sponsor-free, no gifted clothes from brands that I had to wear because I really wanted to showcase my style with pieces I went out and purchased (which in my opinion was the best decision because I wanted to enjoy the whole experience with no strings attached). Plus, we are also in the middle of planning baby’s 1st birthday party and that is also a huge expense! I will say that I like strict budgets (it’s the financial person in me) because I like the challenge of having to be creative and resourceful when “trying to make a dolla outta 15 cents”.
In this look I layered over this perfect-for-fall coat, and even though I had to keep confirming with my photographer friend that I didn’t look too Handmaid’s Taleish, I loved the color.
And I know what you’re thinking, I keep pairing things with my Hermes belt, but honestly it’s been so hard to NOT wear it, it goes with everything! And in case you didn’t know it’s reversible so I can wear it on the tan side too, which is ah-ma-zing. Obviously it’s an investment piece because it costs a pretty penny, but being as money-conscious as I am, I am making sure I am putting it to good use!
The point is…. in my search, I found so many great, affordable pieces to allow you to partake in this seasons biggest trend!
Whether it be a dash of leopard via shoes, a top, a clutch or a coat or all-in leopard via a dress- have fun with it and wear it with confidence! And because sharing is caring here are 15 leopard pieces under $100! Click on the picture to shop!
