Little White Dress for 4th of July

While I usually reserve the red, white and blue for the 4th of July (as can be seen here, here and here) this time around I just wanted to wear a good ol’ casual white dress, put on some comfy (but still cute) sandals and feel the warmth of the summer sun while sippin’ on a glass of wine! In my defense, I was pregnant all last summer so this girl (pointing at myself) has a lot of catching up to do in the FUN department.

This year, is our baby’s 1st fourth of July and I have his cute little outfit ready to go (want a sneak peek? I got him this little onesie and these little shorts!) We’ll be spending it at my mother in law’s house (Fourth of July is  her favorite holiday) where she throws a great all-American BBQ and her backyard has the best views of a fireworks show. I’m also crossing my fingers I get to do some online shopping tomorrow to take advantage of some good sales! I find that I’m usually holding off on doing shopping sprees until Holiday sales since I feel like I score some deals, especially when stores offer a discount promo code for the day-of the Holiday. As I sit here, I have a list going of things I want to buy and hope that they will be on sale tomorrow!
