I’ve been in a corporate setting for over 15 years and I will admit that I spent most of those beginning years wearing the standard black and/or gray office attire (I know, totally boooring!) until I started experimenting, getting more confident with my fashion and finding ways to incorporate more personality into my looks. Today I’m focusing on one of my favorite and easiest ways to spruce up my work attire- blazers! It’s feeling professional with a stylish twist!
You can always count on blazers to add a sleek touch to your outfit, but what if those blazers are colorful, or printed or have unique details?
Well, that just makes them more exciting by office standards! The added bonus is the ease of still feeling stylish when attending after work events, or even by tossing one on on the weekend. When I think printed blazers in the office I think floral, plaid or striped, as long as the print is not too busy or distracting where it may not be office appropriate. Then during off work time, like weekends, a printed blazer paired with jeans is still a stylish layering piece!

Pastel Blazers are a great pop of color and femininity without being too bold (although I’m not opposed to a nice bold color)! I personally love pastel colors, there’s something chic and modest about a pastel piece, especially when the structure is just right.
Blazers with unique details are a great way to add some sort of pizzazz to a look without being too plain. It can be something as simple as knotted sleeves or cute buttons! Something fun without compromising the office dress code.
And there you have it! Let me know if you like these kinds of office attire idea posts!
