Since I spend most of my day sitting at my desk- working on my day job and then shifting gears to this blog after I clock out it’s essential to keep beautiful, colorful and practical things on my desk area. Here’s what I keep on the left-hand side of my desk:
I love having my inspirational magazines, cute decor, fun patterns and most importantly how easily my Kleenex box blends in! Whether it be after a sneeze, to remove my lipstick, or clean up a minor spill- I love that my Stylish Kleenex box is within reach without me having to get up!
We all know Kleenex is a household brand and it’s so great to see the box be updated in such a stylish way! There are so many cool patterns and designs to choose from:

Hello PaulinaI love your blog! It's great to know you work as a Financial Analyst. Are there any tips you can provide to start that career path. I don't have a bachelors in accounting, my bachelors is in business administration but I'm completing a masters in Financial Management in April of this year. I would like to work as a Financial Analyst too but when looking for jobs, even though they are entry level, the requirements include experience in finance analysis. Most of my experience here in the US is in the insurance field. What would you recommend?, any programs, software that I need to learn? Any advice would be welcome. Regards,Erika
Hi Erika!! I just saw your comment- for me what really opened doors was working in the financial field while I was going to school, I had great mentors along the way, one specifically who sponsored me to get my securities licenses. My biggest piece of advice is even if you have to work part time/ interning on the side, find somewhere you can put your foot in the door or a mentor. Not sure what organizations are out there for mentorship but I think a good mentor/company that fosters your growth as a financial analyst is essential 🙂 hope that helps!
PaulinaThank you so much for taking the time to respond to my comment! You're a sweet. I will look for some mentors and internships.
