What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale features highly discounted prices on amazing brands (this year the preview indicated brands such as Adidas, Barefoot Dreams, Zella, Spanx and NUNA to name just a few) in an array of categories (fashion, beauty, kids’, etc). Typically when prices are slashed this much it is because the items are from previous seasons, but with the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, it’s the other way around. The sale covers items that are current or ahead of season (think shopping for Fall/Winter, even gift items now). Once the sale ends, the prices go back to full price.

When does the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale start and how does it work?

The Nordstrom anniversary Sale started with a preview on July 3rd and then early access opens up to Nordstrom cardholder depending on status level (timeline below) on July 11! Early access is for Nordstrom credit card or debit card holders only by tier (listed below). You can open a card now, but I ONLY recommend that if it’s in your budget! If not, anyone can shop the sale starting July 15.

Best tips for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

1. Check out the sale preview July 3-10 and start a wishlist.
   • Need help or inspo? because it’s an overwhelming amount of items I will be posting my recommendations and try ones on my LTK account, I will have an NSALE collection with everything in one place! 2. Prioritize your wishlist before you are able to shop it. Think about any specific items or categories (i.e. a car seat, sneakers, gifts for the future, etc) that you want to shop for and go directly to it when the sale goes live to avoid having it sell out. I purchased two nuna RAVA car seats for my kids on this sale because the price was amazing for nuna which rarely goes on sale and sure enough they sold out before the end of the sale! 3. Have your Nordstrom Rewards, debit or credit card logged in and ready to go when the Early Access sale goes live. Also make sure to be earning Nordies rewards points on what you buy!
