Happy Fall Y’all! For today’s post I’m bringing out some past Family Halloween Costumes ideas we did as a family of 3! This year we went with a theme to include baby girl and while it’s not as original as I feel like our past ones were, it was chosen by our son so I know it’s going to make him SO happy when he sees us all in costume! I share what we are going to be this year down below!
Family Halloween Costumes: Pinocchio!
For Julian’s first Halloween (and since he really didn’t have a say in it) we dressed up as Pinocchio, to coordinate with him my husband was Gepetto and I was naturally was the Blue Fairy that turns him into a real boy! Deciding on this team was a no brained because my husband loved that movie and its message. I also found this baby costume (sadly no longer sold) so all I had to DIY was our costumes. For Gepetto, I found this old man wig, glasses and apron on Amazon, the rest is clothes my husband had in his closet (tip: tuck in pants into high white socks to get the Gepetto look!). For me, I bought a blonde wig, fairy wings, a blue maxi dress from ASOS and then I picked up this sparkly material from our local fabric store (Yardage Town) as well as the rope belt and the ribbon that I hot glued to my headband!
I LINKED WHAT IS STILL AVAILABLE BELOW!
Family Halloween Costumes: Cookie Monster!
For Julian’s second Halloween we were his favorite character at the time- Cookie Monster! It was only natural that we were cookies to coordinate! I attempted to dress our dog Coco as a cookie too but my idea of sewing this cookie pillow to a doggie shirt didn’t work out *womp womb*

This year we have decided to be… drum roll please… Nightmare Before Christmas! It’s such a popular theme but Julian is at the age where what he says goes and he has become OBSESSED with this movie. He has watched at least 10 times, we have to play the soundtrack any time he is in the car and he knows all the lyrics. It even prompted a quick trip to Disneyland so he could go on the Haunted Mansion! So he was set on being Jack Skellington, and we will be his supporting cast (to be revealed soon!) Lucky for him, his little sister doesn’t have much of a say in this! ha! Stay tuned as we show off our costumes on Instagram in the next week!
Best {Fashionable} Regards,
