I decided to do a nuna MIXX, PIPA and RAVA Review because all of these are part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and if you are about to have a baby or in need of a stroller, car seat or toddler car seat this is the time to take advantage of the sale!
When I was pregnant with Julian I did my research of what was out there at the time (2017) and went with NUNA for carseats and stroller based on safety, functionality (ease of transitioning it with him as he grew) and the sleek design. Yes, the price tag is hefty (again, def take advantage of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale if you can!) but you will use the system for years!! Julian is almost four and he still uses his NUNA RAVA.
Let’s start with the…
nuna PIPA Infant Car Seat!
The nuna PIPA (and since I got it a nuna PIPA Lite came out) is the Infant Car Seat we used with Julian until he outgrew it at 32 lbs (the moved him to the nuna RAVA) and now we use it with Capri. The safety features are top of the line and the dock that it comes with makes it extra secure in the car, as well as super easy. It’s also as easy to undock it from the car and dock it on to the nuna MIXX which is the nuna stroller system we used for Julian and now with Capri. With all those baby doctors appointments the ease of transitioning baby from car to stroller is seamless, the baby doesn’t have to be moved or woken up which is the best part. Both of these are part of The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! There is also a nuna PIPA Lite LX car seat with two bases bundle and the benefit of 2 docks is when you use 2 cars, right now we try to stick to my car because the base is in it, or move the base which can be a bit of a hassle. So with two docks you can easily just dock in whichever car you use.

nuna MIXX next Stroller system
I like to call it a system because there is so many ways you can use the parts to the nuna MIXX as the baby grows. If you are turned off by the price, again this is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and will be $269 off and you will use it for years so it is a good investment!! You can use the Bassinet attachment when walking around and wanting to keep your newborn asleep laying down, and as your baby grows you can dock the seat facing you, or facing forward, it reclines five notches so for us, we would recline it flat for Julian to take a nap if we were out and about. Between you and I, you don’t really need the bassinet attachment, I hardly used it with both kids because I would just keep them in the car seat docked on the stroller, so if you don’t feel like you need the bassinet attachment you can buy the Stroller system for way less! The 2021 MIXX next Refined Collections stroller is also part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and is more than $200 off.

nuna RAVA Convertible Car Seat
We own two nuna RAVA’s for Julian both of which I got during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sales so let me tell you it’s such a good deal PLUS they sell out! Post-sale and every where else they are sold they are regular price. The nuna RAVA convertible car seat stays in the car and transitions with your child. Julian used the RAVA in my husband’s truck while he used the PIPA in my car, and that is because you can start your baby in the RAVA Car seat from 5-50lbs rear facing, then as they grow and you get clearance from your pediatrician to face forward the nuna RAVA can be transitioned facing forward! So at this point in time Julian is almost 4 and his car seat is the RAVA one and he loves putting his juice bottle in the cup holders that flip open or you can bend away. On top of all of this, it is Flame Retardant Free AND the design is so sleek!
