Taupe Boots Outfit Ideas

As we transition into Spring, but are not quite there yet I wanted to share some transitional outfit ideas around my favorite type of boot- the taupe boot! When I got these boots a couple of years ago (as seen here here and here) I was really hoping that they would be “in” since I considered them an investment (they were close to $200), fast forward to 2020 and they have become a staple in my wardrobe! I have gotten so much use out of them and in comparison to the standard black boot, taupe boots give outfits a more relaxed vibe. My go-to had always been to pair taupe boots with jeans while keeping the rest of the outfit neutral or earth toned, this time around I ended up styling the boots with a flowy dress and I LOVED how it looked.

Styling Tips for Taupe Boots Outfit Ideas

• Make sure the length of the dress sits right above the boots.
• Make sure the proportion of the dress looks right paired with the boots, i.e. stay away from tight dresses, flowy dresses are key.
• Pair with neutrals or earth tones or a print that includes taupe (like my dress)
