Get ready to see a print and color filled post brought to you by my visit to the “Journey of a Dress” Diane Von Furstenberg exhibit located in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
This exhibit celebrates the 40th anniversary of Diane Von Furstenberg’s brand and the dress that started it all- the iconic wrap dress. Its prints and colors are boldly reflected on the walls (which to a fashion blogger like me is picture heaven) while 200 mannequins wearing DVF dresses stand beautifully everywhere you look! It was hard to take it all in, so I snapped these few pics to capture my favorite areas.
A hot pink narrow hall filled highlights Diane’s successful and extensive career in the fashion industry next to interesting art installations about Diane (including the famous Andy Warhol paintings of her).
About the Outfit: Forever 21 Blazer (similar) and Peplum Top | Hudson Jeans | Tory Burch Reva Flats and Purse | Isaac Mizrahi Sunglasses | Choies NecklacePics by Alessandra Gonzalez
If you are in the LA area and are a fashion enthusiast, I highly recommend checking this exhibit out! It has been extended to May 1st and it is FREE!
