Opening Day at the Del Mar Racetrack is one of the most fashionable affairs in San Diego and of course, I had to be there! As you may have seen here, here and here, I not only love checking out the festivities every year, but I love thinking of an outfit that revolves around the mandatory headpiece. There are so many options: big hats, fascinators, bowler hats or as you can see below from the Annual Opening Day Hat Contest, an elaborate concoction on your head can do the trick!
