With only five days away from the official holiday of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP, I had to toss in a V-day inspired outfit. I can literally be whisked away by the fiance in this outfit and he would love it, with the elegance at the top and showing some leg at the bottom (heaaay!). Let’s be honest, some times he’s not so thrilled with my fashion blogger selections (i.e. hats, midi skirts and what not). Men are such simple creatures, but that’s a whole other blog post for a whole other blog!

Speaking of men and simplicity (great transition riiight?), Valentine’s Day is the most popular day to dine out and reservations are a must (plus they will save you a big headache!). OpenTable has made it super easy to 1) Scope out all of the San Diego Valentine’s Day menus and 2) Make your reservation online! The site also provides information on pricing per person and what it includes, for those of us who keep a close eye on the budget. 

I know most of you reading are my fellow ladies, so send the link to your man/woman as a hint or to have them be prepared for the V-day extravaganza! My recommendations for couples: Peohe’s (did this one during Valentine’s day 3 years ago and loved it) and Island Prime (love this place any day). Or if you are a single lady, go out with your friends! My recommendations for friends (since I’ve been to these and they are more fun and chill): Don Chido, Stone Brewery Liberty Station, Searsucker Downtown. Whatever you end up doing this Valentine’s Day or if you forego the festivities, have a great one!
